Pretty neat stuff, eh? This thing they call spring? After all the anticipation and cold and winter, now it is trees coming into their greenery, flowers both wild and cultivated bursting out in colorful hellos, the breezes getting warmer and the sun downright hot on occasion. It's so marvelous.
It's a perfect time to start plotting a garden or join a local CSA. (CSA stands for Community Supported Agriculture, and it's a great way to eat healthily while supporting your local farmer! Here's a link for more information.) A perfect time to be out in nature - always being sure to do a tick check afterwards! Or maybe time for a spring cleaning? Our purely plant-based products could definitely help out with that. They're powerful - thanks in part to this mighty little plant:
It's Thyme! Our namesake plant, and also a great ally in the quest for a healthy clean. The essential oil distilled from thyme is antibacterial, antiseptic, and antifungal, and is a part of our Signature essential oil blend that is featured in our cleaning line.
It's also the perfect time to head to a market! Spring is when markets really get going up in the northeast, with all sorts of amazing places you can go to and support artisans, small businesses and local purveyors of goodness. We have a whole bunch of great events coming up, and you can find those both on our events page or in this market round-up post.
This weekend, we're taking the divide-and-conquer approach and you can find us at two great events - Basilica Farm & Flea in Hudson, NY and The Collective at M & D in Westerlo, NY. Whew! It'll be a busy bunch of fun - even more so because we are also presenting a workshop on Sunday in Westerlo!
However you celebrate spring, all of us at Tidy Thyme hope you feel the blooming of love in your heart! Enjoy the flowers!
With love from
The Tidy Thyme Crew
