  • DIY Recycled Vases and Centerpieces

Tidy Thyme, maker of 100% plant based products for home and cleaning, found these diy recycled vases made from glass soda bottles and fell in love with their charming, handmade simplicity.

We here at Tidy Thyme, we love flowers, we love plants, and we love things that are beneficial for our planet. So when we saw these charming DIY vases made with a 4-pack of recycled bottles and the cardboard caddy they came in, we were hooked!

You bet that we'll be getting our spray paint on soon, filling these bad boys with bunches of daisies and wildflowers. Can't wait.

Tidy Thyme, maker of 100% plant based products for cleaning and home, found this idea for recycled bottle vases from The Colorful Living Project and we thought they were awful charming!

You soak the bottles in hot soapy water to get the labels off, then spray paint them when they're clean and dry. (Spray painting outside, over newspaper and not into the wind will make the whole process better.)

Spray paint the caddy a complementary color. Then when everything is dry, add flowers and water! (Don't drink from the bottles anymore, though. Spray paint is probably not the tastiest or very good to ingest).

Bring some flowers into your life, and enjoy your sweet vases!
